General Rules

• Players must running shoes or some form of cleats.

• Shirts are required

• No players will be permitted to play under the influence of alcohol or drugs

• Smoking/Vaping is prohibited on school property

• All drop-in participants *must* sign the waiver each night before playing

  • participants who have registered to play or paid ahead of time will have signed their waiver upon purchase​

• Participants are expected to remain on the field (*we don't have access to inside the school*)

 

Pre-Play guidelines

• At Queer league we respect all people, their bodies, and ability levels.

• We respect each other’s pronouns – if you forget someone’s pronouns – ask!

• We don’t give unsolicited advice – we are all adults, and if someone needs assistance, they can ask for it

• We are here to have FUN – this means try hard, do your best, and never at the expense of others.

• People with more experience are asked to control their intensity of play to ensure everyone can participate and no one is consistently outplayed. (aka… If you have skills, you know how to control them – so don’t be an asshole).

• There is ZERO tolerance for any form of discriminatory language or comments. You will be asked to leave if a volunteer sees or hears of this behaviour.

• This is a safe place for people to be out and queer, but we respect and understand that not every environment is safe for people to exist as they wish, as such, please be sure when seeing other members in public that you do not indicate where you know them from, and don’t assume they are using a name and pronouns that you’re familiar with.

• Leave no trace when we come to play – take everything out that came into the gym with you.
